Daniel Alekow is a young digital artist from Berlin who has been on my watch list for almost half a year! His beautiful painting made for Frogster, a game that in the end got canceled, got him a place among the artists I check on a regular basis.. His beautiful painting style reminds me somehow of Raphael Lacoste, and hopefully one day Daniel will gain a reputation as good as Raphael.

Well, the first impression was: wow!
But then… some of the details started to pop out of the woods (see what I did there?) and suddenly it wasn’t so cool anymore. It was cold. And kinda hard to warm up to, because even when the paintings are bright… they’re cold and dark.
I like what he does with the flags, though.
